My Monkie likes his bananas. He almost eats one day-to-day. First thing in the morning, typically for his breakfast, along side his valuable espresso. I understand, not the very best method to begin the day. However, you see, Monkie right away gets up and starts to work. Morning meal isn’t the first thing on his mind. However, being who I’m and we’re together, I think of it a lot. How important breakfast is to give my Monkie energy, as he begins his day. And therefore, this banana liking shake was born …:)

For The Recipe

2 1/2 cups homemade walnut milk *

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

pinch of sea salt

few dashes of ground cinnamon

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled

1 ripe or frozen banana

2 soft dates, pitted

1 TB golden flaxseed

handful of ice cubes

Instructions
Put everything into the blender or food processor and blend till incorporated. Serve immediately. * If your searching for a Nut Milk recipe, take a look at my Almond Milk and just substitute 1/2 cup walnuts for the Almonds.
